Megalinear PU

Megalinear open ended timing belts are manufactured in thermoplastic polyurethane that gives superior wear and abrasion resistance, various grades of steel cords offer good running characteristics with high traction loads  Megalinear can be supplied in open length rolls or endless jointed belts.

Open Length Belts Open length belting is manufactured as a continuous length, with reinforcement in a parallel configuration. Open lengths belts are available in a number of tooth profiles and are supplied in standard 50m or 100m coils. Megalinear open ended belts are generally used in linear motion applications.

Endless Jointed Belts By jointing using the thermoplastic properties of open ended length belting, endless belts can be produced at any length by welding. Due to the symmetrical vee shaped pattern of the join the joint is resistant to fatigue from flexing and tension. Endless jointed belts are suitable for conveying applications, particularly when indexing and/or positive drive is required. Supplementary applications of flights, profiles, and coatings are also possible to suit specific applications. All joined belts are made to order.
