The high torque RPP Panther Timing Belt delivers unequalled performance and has the highest power ratings of any rubber timing belt available in the market today. The Panther belt will out perform chains and gears as well as conventional belt systems.
The new tensile member ULTRA-CORD® a non arimid fibre delivers unequalled strength allowing higher power transmission capabilities, up to 200% more than standard RPP. The ULTRA-CORD® will not stretch or shrink like Aramid fibres, allowing a major reduction in installation tensions that reduces hub loads and strain on bearings and shafts, etc.
The smooth, quiet performance of the Panther belt will absorb shock loads, soften equipment surges, and operates at efficiency levels up to 99% through a wide range of operating speeds.
The RPP Panther retains the same RPP parabolic tooth profile to guarantee compatibility and interchangability with other deep groove systems making easy upgrades of existing drives without the need to replace with special sprockets.
The RPP Panther has it all higher power ratings, it is clean, quite, and maintenance-free and performs up to 99% energy efficient. The unique tooth cover also results in the RPP Panther having Antistatic properties making the ideal choice for applications in potential explosive environments.
