The RPP Parabolic Silver timing belt was specifically designed to improve power and the performance of the standard RPP. Unleashing the higher power ratings of the RPP Silver it provides new application opportunities in high torque drives against alternative systems like chains & gears that will always have a disadvantage in term of weight, noise, lubrication and maintenance costs.
The RPP Silver retains the same RPP parabolic tooth profile to guarantee compatibility, interchangability making easy upgrades of existing drives without the need to replace with special sprockets.
The secret behind the RPP Silver is its construction, using materials of the highest quality and strength plus the inclusion of the nylon tooth facing impregnated with graphite imparts superior torques capacity up to 60% more transmittable power than standard RPP. By replacing standard deep groove drive belts with RPP Silver in your existing drive a minimum of double the life will be realised. The unique tooth cover also results in the RPP Silver having Antistatic properties making the ideal choice for applications in potential explosive environments.
The RPP Silver is suitable for a wide range of load capacities and speed ratios. The increased power ratings allows drives designers to incorporate longer belt life, smaller widths and drive packages reducing both drive costs, weight and maintenance costs.
