Banded Belts
Banded belts are specifically designed for drives with long centre distances where individual belts can have the tendency to roll over or whip severely on the drive due to fluctuating load conditions or severe drive vibration. The individual belt ribs are permanently joined together on the top with reinforced fabric tie-band bonding the set of belts into one belt unit. The reinforced band across the top of 2 or more individual V-belts greatly enhance stability of the drive by eliminating belt whip and prevents the belt from turning over or jumping of the drive.
Banded belts are available in classical and power wedge cross section in wrapped and raw edge constructions.
